In exchange for the payment stated above, and effective only when that payment has been received and cleared, the Contractor waives and releases any mechanic's lien, stop-payment, or payment-bond claim rights for labor, services, and materials furnished through the date stated above for the job and property listed. If the payment does not clear, this waiver has no effect. This waiver covers only the work through the date above and does not waive rights for later work, change orders not yet paid, or retention not yet released, except amounts expressly included in this payment.

In exchange for the payment stated above, which the Contractor confirms has been received in full, the Contractor unconditionally waives and releases any mechanic's lien, stop-payment, or payment-bond claim rights for all labor, services, and materials furnished for the job and property listed, through the date stated above. The Contractor confirms the job has been paid in full through that date.
